Another Roller Coaster Week
So my day started out by turning in to my office a new contract on a vacant lot that I have for sale. Hurray, it's always a good feeling when you put a deal together and you know there is are happy clients and a commission check on the way.
Then the very next day you get the dreaded email from the buyer. "We've decided to back out of the deal. We don't have enough money". Well now, isn't that special. You told me you had enough money when we put the deal together. So the call to the seller with the bad news.
But then, a few hours later you get a call to show the vacant lot AND the house next door to a buyer as a package deal. The buyer is very excited. This is perfect. He'll call tomorrow with his decision.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, Hellooooooooooo, where is the buyer? He can't make up his mind. He needs a few more days. Hope that someone else doesn't come along and snatch it up while he's thinking!
Then I get the call from my client on a Rental Listing that I have. I list this every season for January February and March. I have a tenant that has filled out the paperwork and the check is in the mail. Unfortunately; now there are other family members involved in the estate and they can't agree on who is in charge. They need me to cancel the listing and tell the tenant to make other arrangements.
But then some good news, another one of my single family home listings is under contract and scheduled to close in December. Now my seller becomes a buyer of another home. Yippee......I write another contract and that home is scheduled to close the same day, as soon as we close on the first house. He'll use the proceeds from the sale to make the purchase.
Good News, Bad News, Good News......Just another day in the life of a Real Estate Broker.
I can help you buy or sell real estate, anywhere in the world.
